Intellectual Property

The website (the “Site”) is an online community of volunteers and other users, with a strong, shared purpose of providing a free alternative to Facebook and similar data-harvesting social media platforms. In order to further the goals of the Site, users are encouraged to share ideas, knowledge, feedback etc. but are also bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Site, which also detail restrictions on the use of copyrighted, trademarked or other material governed by intellectual property law.

As a volunteer community we depend on our members and guests to help police the Site for proper and appropriate use of material protected by intellectual property law and proper compliance with open source or free licenses.

Any suspected violation of intellectual property law or compliance with an open source or free license should be reported to the webmaster.

With the exceptions noted below, all work on the Site is covered under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.
